Dec 22, 2020     Bottom Skin bell crank supports and Fuel Senders arrive       Category: Wings
Drilled L channel rivet holes for the bottom skin bell crank support ribs.

Also, when i riveted the bottom skin, I accidently riveted the bellcrank holes as well. Had to drill them out.

Prepared to rivet in the flush nutplates on the bell crank inspection panel. Riveted a few tests on scrap sheet. I need to get a non-hollowed-out (flat) riveter nose piece so I can rivet these in place. I'll stop by Menards ore HB tomorrow.

Oh, happy day. My new fuel senders came today! I placement and size checked them. Measured out the profile, looks to be not to tall for my liking. Inspecting it, the float is very light, like a fishing bobber. I hooked up a multimeter and checked ohms at various float positions. It was 241 ohms empty and 29 ohms full.

Due to most of my drill bits dulled out (they are really starting to leave gougy burrs that are mess to flatten), I'm waiting on an order from yardstore.com for a slug of new bits. Looking forward to it, actually, becuase with that order I'm trying a new bit type, a pilot bit.

Did a lot of research today on routing of the solid fuel lines I'm going to be creating. I'm doing this now because I want to be sure to drill the holes in the nose ribs properly. Looks like I'm just going to end up following the plans for placement on nose ribs 1-3.
